The children from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th who completed their active week homework and their 60 minutes a day with their certificates.
Some people were sick last week so will be completing theirs this week and hopefully earning a certificate too! Juniors- 2nd pictures still to come......... We are half way through our first Active week of 2018. We hope that everybody is having a fun 60 mins per day and is enjoying our active family homework with the 10 at 10 crew.
Why not keep the good work up and round off the week with St. Fintan's fun run and walk- fun for all the family! Last summer we were honored to have a visit from local man Stephen Hunt (who also played a bit of soccer by the way!)
Stephen answered all of our questions about keeping fit and healthy and what it takes to be a fittest family mentor on telly. He answered all of our questions about soccer and imparted invaluable advice to our many budding stars on what it takes to become an international star and play in the premiership. Our All Blacks soccer players got to show off their trophies from a bumper successful year. On behalf of our school we thank Stephen for taking time out to chat, play with, and inspire our children. A true gent who took as long as it took to play soccer and games with every child in our school- you're welcome back any time. He couldn't however score a penalty on Lee- always knew Lee was a special talent! Great fun had at break this week with Ms. Walsh's new game of the week- fun long jumps!
Some spectacular (ahem!) efforts on display. Have we found the next Luvo Manyonga?! |
