Looking at our lunches in 1st and 2nd class, we decided to make our own food pyramids and see what food went where. The contents pyramid in the Hall that Mr Day made was the cause of much discussion about sugar. Which foods contain sugar and which ones don't? The new food pyramid puts fruit and veg on the bottom which is the widest part of the pyramid. Then we constructed pyramids from some cardboard. This was a lot more difficult than it seemed but was great fun. Listen to Jack and Katie-Ellen explaining about the different foods. What about yogurt?
