In our first school tour of the year both Infant classes visited Johnstown Castle to celebrate the season of autumn. The childre had a treasure bag each, which they filled with sycamore, oak and horse chestnut leaves and helicopters, acorns and chestnuts. We spotted lots of evergreen trees and we were nearly chased by a peacock! Rapunzel was shy and didn't come out to say hello but we had a good look at her tower and the dungeon beneath it. We met a film crew on our way to the walled garden but they didn't want us in their movie so we had to be quiet! Great memories were made on the day.
